Larry Cantor has been committed to the sport of wrestling for over thirty-five years. He has coached the sport in high schools in three states, New York, Maryland and Maine. He began his coaching career at Long Island's Eastern Military Academy before moving to The Trinity School in New York City. In addition to coaching he is a certified official for High School, college and international wrestling. In 2000 he was on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Wrestling Association, and was an active participant in the 2003 World Championships held at Madison Square Garden. As the first Commissioner of Wrestling in the New York City public schools, Larry has been involved with the development of over thirty five new varsity wrestling programs and has worked closely with the "Beat the Streets" program.
